Villa Veridiana is an exquisite designer villa, buit just 2 years ago. It is in a southwest-facing position, on the north eastern shore of Lake Como, between Colico and the Bay of Piona, easily reachable from Milan by motorway and superstrada (fast roads) or by train.
Villa Veridiana sits on a sun drenched hillside and commands extensive views of the lake, and the mountains all the way to St Moritz on a clear day. (see more below)
This high-specification villa was built by a local architect for himself, and has an environmentally friendly design, using stunning wood and stone, as well as glass and steel.
It is surrounded by green-belt and has a spacious garden on 4 sides, with natural woodland behind and has a large swimming pool and the sun shines from sunrise to sunset.
The surrounding neighbourhood is a picturesque rural mix of small family farmsteads, fields, meadows and individual houses. The lake is approx. 1km away, there is a lakeside footpath that also leads into the centre of Colico, (the walk is gentle, not steep) with its many shops, restaurants, cafes, lakeside piazza, boat dock/harbour and a small railway station.
Interior:
Natural “organic” design and dynamic forms flow nicely together, creating smooth transitions between the indoor and outdoor areas. A distinct atmosphere of “well-being” permeates this beautiful villa.
Remaining true to the style of the Lombard Rustici, the stunning natural stone has been left deliberately exposed, including parts of the house interior. Skillful contrasts are created between the fine larch wood of the oval-shaped living room walls and the parquet floors as well as the extravagant spiral staircase and the wide panoramic glass frontage.
The garden level features an elegant winter garden-living room, three double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living/dining room with an integrated kitchen plus a roof-covered panoramic terrace with fabulous westward views over the lake.
The basement has a sauna and gymnasium and bathroom, as well as the historic cellar of the original building.
On the first floor there is an additional living area with open integrated kitchen, a further double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom. There is also a large panoramic terrace, which wraps around the property.

Service Charge
Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis.
Additional Facilities
We offer a range of extra facilities, which are available for hire: Cot Hire – EU 20 per week, High Chair – EU 15 per week, Push Chair – EU 25 per week, Camp Bed – EU 85 per week.
Making a Booking
To make a confirmed booking, we will send you a booking form and you pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
