The ground floor of a stunning cottage-style property (divided into only 2 units) , in a secluded and quiet location, accessed via a private lane, in the popular town of Menaggio.
Menaggio Cottage offers luxurious, modern and spacious accommodation over one floor, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely, private & sunny garden. There are stunning 180 degree lake views of Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio as well as the mountains beyond from both inside and outside of the cottage.
The lovely lakeside town of Menaggio can be reached on foot in around 10 minutes along the private lane or by car in 2 minutes. There is a slight incline on the way back from the town to the oottage.

The area
Menaggio is one of the larger villages on Lake Como and is a well-known and popular destination. A major ferry stop here provides easy access to towns around the lake. There is a wide selection of restaurants and bars here, in addition to shops and supermarkets, as well as a weekly market.
Menaggio is part of the famous ‘golden triangle’ of Lake Como, along with Bellagio and Varenna. It provides easy access to skiing during the winter months, making it a year round destination. St Moritz is just a 90 minutes’ drive away, and there are smaller pistes nearby which offer local skiing opportunities. There are also local golf courses, including the historic Menaggio golf course, which also makes this a destination for sports people.
Coast/Beach
A 2-minute drive takes you to the lakeside of Menaggio, where you will find a lakeside lido with restaurant, bar swimming pool and beach where you can sunbathe and swim safely in the lake.
There are several other lidos within easy driving distance with pools and sunbathing area as well as restaurant facilities e.g. Villa Olmo, Cadenabbio and Menaggio.
Golf
The historic golf club of Menaggio (one of the oldest in Europe) is located just a 5 minute drive away. There are also several other golf clubs within easy driving distance.
Skiing
There are a host of ski resorts in both Italy and Switzerland from around 1 hour 30 mins driving distance including St Moritz, Madesimio and Bormio to name just a few. There is also several small local pistes close by, suitable for a half day’s skiing.

A minibus (up to 8 seats) transfer can be arranged from any of the above airports as follows: Malpensa/Linate 150 euro, Bergamo 180 euro.
